BAR, standing at front of kennel. Did not eat last night's meal. Very feisty in hand. Eyes were difficult to eval; bird kept blinking. Wrap doesn't look tampered with at all. Banded.

Right eye:
PC paler widespread with little pattern compared to OS
Left eye:
Small, almost pinpoint uptake on cornea at ~4 o' clock to the pupil. Tx not necessary. PC looks okay. Small bruise/abrasion on nictitating membrane.

BARP, hissing and clacking. Bird had pale blood/exudate all over primaries, so assessed wounds in Iso. Anesthetized under 4% iso. Hematoma has formed at the caudal aspect of L ulna and had started to leak. Lightly scrubbed with chlorhex and covered with telfa/tega. SD gave padded fig 8. Recovery from GA was normal. Laid bird down in kennel with fresh towel and she started hissing. Scab on R inguinal.

GHOW tangled in soccer net at elementary school. Massive bird. Finders cut bird down themselves. Anesthetized under 4% iso stat to cut away net; took ~10-15 minutes. Some fresh blood soaked a portion of the net, but I did not see any open wounds. Some small down feathers were plucked, so maybe some of those in blood soaked the net. Bird was resistant under GA at first. Recovery was normal. Both wings have swelling that I expect will present as dark bruising over the next few days. Did not examine eyes. A few flat flies, but I suspect those are from the other bird in triage. Set up in KR2 kennel with towel. Will check on later and treat as BID tonight.
