Massive bird. Finders cut bird down themselves. Anesthetized under 4% iso stat to cut away net; took ~10-15 minutes. Some fresh blood soaked a portion of the net, but I did not see any open wounds. Some small down feathers were plucked, so maybe some of those in blood soaked the net. Bird was resistant under GA at first. Recovery was normal. Both wings have swelling that I expect will present as dark bruising over the next few days. Did not examine eyes. A few flat flies, but I suspect those are from the other bird in triage.
